Grade Eight learners start new journey at Edenvale High

The Class of 2026 was inducted into its first year of high school at Edenvale High School.
On January 31, Grade Eight learners made the walk to the front of the assembly to complete the tradition of ringing the school bell.

During the induction ceremony, principal Dr Larry Harmer welcomed the Grade Eights with an elbow tap, as per Covid-19 regulations.
Each learner received a spekboom sprout to symbolise the growth that is about to take place in each of their lives.
The evening was ended when the Grade Eights raised their voices in a war cry. Besides welcoming the learners, Edenvale High looks forward to seeing what exciting moments await this group.
