Vehicle stolen in JHB recovered in Edenvale

Two suspects were arrested on multiple charges by Johannesburg SAPS K9 Unit after the vehicle they were driving was identified as stolen.

The duo was arrested on November 15 by the Johannesburg SAPS members.

Edenvale SAPS communications officer Sgt Jacob Mashile said the vehicle was flagged by 1TRACK, with the use of a Vuma camera at the corner of De Wet Street and Twelfth Avenue.

He said it was determined that the vehicle was stolen from the Parkview area.

Following the arrests, Edenvale Police Station station commander Lt-Col Eunice Nzuza welcomed the assistance from the private security company. She encouraged security companies to continue sharing information and working with the SAPS.
