CoE invites public to comment on draft IWMP

The City of Ekurhuleni invited members of the public to comment on its draft Integrated Waste Management Plan (IWMP).

CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the objective of drafting the IWMP and calling for public comments is to integrate and optimise waste management planning.

Dlamini further explained that the drafted plan hopes to “maximise efficiency, minimise the associated environmental impacts and financial costs and to improve the quality of life for all South Africans”.

Deadline for comments is November 30.
