Daredevils hit Edenvale’s streets

The national event, which cost participants R160 to enter this year, raises funds for Cansa and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa.

Wearing bright purple speedos community members took to the streets of Edenvale and Linksfield for a good cause as they participated in Hollard’s Daredevil Run.

On October 15, Team Testicle Tumblers set off from Grand Slam and ran approximately 5km to Kremisrty at Linksfield Square.

The national event, which cost participants R160 to enter this year, raises funds for Cansa and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa.

The event hopes to challenge stereotypes about male cancers and promote conversations about understanding prostate and testicular cancer.
