Edenglen learner completes SA JKA Karate grading

Her most recent grading was especially tough due to an ankle injury, but Vivienne persevered.

Vivienne Claasens, a Grade 10 learner at Edenglen High School, recently completed her SA JKA Karate grading to receive her purple belt (4th KYU).

Vivienne, who has been graded three times since the end of last year, achieved her green and blue belts previously.

Next up for her is a brown belt.

Vivienne trains under the watchful eye and leadership of sensei Bradley Korras and, quoting him, ‘put in the effort and you will reap the rewards. Keep on training and you will achieve your goals’.

Edenglen High congratulated Vivienne on her achievement.
