#IMadeMyMark: Calling all ward councillor candidates

We aim to assist our readers in making informed decisions.

With the announcement that the 2021 municipal elections will take place on November 1, the Bedfordview and Edenvale NEWS, Germiston City News and Kempton Express invite ward councillor candidates to come forward and the mayoral candidates from The Thembisan footprint.

Our municipal elections’ advertising feature will be published in the October 2021 edition and we urge candidates to contact the editor, Marietta Lombard, who will provide candidates with ward-specific questions to answer.

We aim to assist our readers in making informed decisions and for this reason, candidates’ replies to the questions will be published in our print feature and/or our website.

The closing date for contacting Lombard has been extended to October 7 at 09:00.. Candidates can email the editor at mlombard@caxton.co.za and the subject must include: 2021 Municipal Elections, the candidate’s name, ward and political affiliation.

We do not endorse any specific political party nor candidate and our only aim is to help our readers make an informed decision.

To be part of the elections’ advertising feature, contact one of our sales representatives on 0118221792 or 0119703030.
