JoMUN brought youth together from around the world to learn and share ideas from a diverse set of experiences and backgrounds.

Learners from all over Africa, as well as Europe and Canada, participated.

Debates are modelled on those held in the UN General Assembly and learners are required to step into the shoes of international diplomats.

Each team is assigned a country to represent and must convincingly embody the policies of their allocated country, such as relevant international issues, debate and consultation, and development of solutions to world problems.

Some fun awards were given at the end of the three-day conference.

Among these, Saheti Grade Eight learner Betalem Jenfa was awarded Most Likely to Become President.
