The centre’s onsite waste company recycled up to 64% of its waste volume at Greenstone at the end of 2012 and was awarded a Waste Minimisation Certificate, the onsite cleaning company only use detergents when cleaning the centre that is not harmful to the environment.
Customers of Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers, Game and Woolworths receive 2 hours FREE parking on any day of the week during centre trading hours. Wednesday is Pensioners’ Day at Greenstone, with all-day free parking for our elderly customers as well as a variety of specials from selected Greenstone tenants. Facilities for the disabled include wheelchair rentals at the centre’s information kiosk, accessible ramps and sizable lifts, sufficient designated parking and wheelchair friendly bathrooms, while selected stores offer lower and wider till points and counters, unisex baby changing facilities at each of the four bathrooms in the centre and 180min Wi-Fi.
