Four Edenglen High learners to compete in iGeo

The learners were selected after they and others from the school participated in the South African National Geography Olympiad (SANGO) on May 18.

Four learners from Edenglen High School were selected as members of the SA team to compete in the International Geography Olympiad (iGeo).

The four learners are Loshaine Munyangama, Nathan Reddy, Nathaniel Moodley and Yastil Bridgmohan.

The learners were selected after they and others from the school participated in the South African National Geography Olympiad (SANGO) on May 18.

This year SANGO had a record of 149 schools and 2 575 learners register for the online competition, all nine provinces were represented.

This year the iGeo will start on August 10 and end on August 16, it will be hosted by Turkey, but due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, it will be held online.

Edenglen High School congratulated the learners on their achievements and wished them the best of luck.
