The Pactfreight Panthers invited rugby players between the ages of 19 and 25 to join its rugby club.
Located at Edenvale Sports Grounds, the rugby club is affiliated with the Valke Rugby Union.
Longstanding captain and chairperson of the club Phillip Venter said the club kicked off the season with its first game against Tsakani at home on May 22.

This will be the last season Venter leads the club after spending 22 years with the Panthers family; he, his wife and two children are emigrating to the Netherlands.
He hopes to end his journey at the club on a high.
To ensure the Panthers are as strong as possible, the club welcomed head coach Ernie Enslin to its ranks earlier this year.
Venter thanked the club’s sponsors for standing by the club during the tough economic times.
