Calling all Ekurhuleni artists
The project aims to enhance the visual aesthetics of the stadium, support local artists and shape the neighbourhood’s visual experience.
The City of Ekurhuleni invites all Ekurhuleni-based mural painters to participate in the Germiston Stadium Mural Art Project.
CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the project aims to enhance the visual aesthetics of the stadium, support local artists and shape the neighbourhood’s visual experience.

The murals will be made at the Germiston Stadium.
Dlamini added this call is specifically extended to experienced artists who can paint murals, and the artists must be 18 years or older to apply.
“They must be artist residing within the City of Ekurhuleni and proof of residence may be required in this regards.”
How to Apply:
• Send a cover sheet including full name, address, contact phone, email address.
• Artist biography with address and date of birth.
• Include two to three previous examples of your outdoor mural work, date completed and location of the mural.
• References should be available upon request.
• Additionally, please provide an artist profile photo.
The applications must be emailed to murals@ekurhuleni.gov.za and the submission deadline for artists to apply is Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 4 pm.
