Due to the pandemic, the usual calendar of guided tours and hikes at the Melville Koppies is temporarily suspended. Both young and old will find something exciting to look forward to on the hikes.
Those wanting to participate in hikes do not need to plan ahead. Interested hikers simply need to arrive at the venue from 8am on Sunday mornings and participate in a self-guided hike of the koppies.

The venue will be closed again at 11.30am. Secure parking is available at Marks Park and security on Melville Koppies is also provided. The cost for a self-guided hike is R80 for adults and R40 for learners payable before participation.
All attendees are asked to try and bring exact cash amounts. Groups of 10 or more are asked to pay in advance by EFT. Hikers can look forward to events at Melville Koppies on March 28 and April 4. For more information email wendavid@mweb.co.za or call 011 482 4797.
