Edenglen’s Akshay places fourth in Ekurhuleni

Besides being the top third school in the region Edenglen Highs top learner Akshay Sooklall received an award for being the fourth best learner in the city of Ekurhuleni.

Edenglen High School's top learner Akshay Sooklall received an award for being the fourth best learner in the City of Ekurhuleni. Akshay received the award at the Godfrey Pitje Academic Excellence Awards held on March 10. Edenglen High School's principal Trevor Weinerlein is with Akshay.

Management of Edenglen High School attended the Godfrey Pitje Academic Excellence Awards where it was announced the school placed third out of 160 schools in the City of Ekurhuleni.

Te awards were hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni’s executive mayor Mzwandile Masina on March 10. The school congratulated the matrics of 2020 and teachers for producing great results.

Besides being the top third school in the region, Edenglen High’s top learner Akshay Sooklall received an award for being the fourth best learner in Ekurhuleni. Akshay attained eight distinctions at an average of 91 per cent.
