With the effect of Covid-19 on sports and cultural activities at schools, Edenglen High School started a veggie garden for its learners.
This will teach learners how to grow their vegetables and plants and how to maintain an eco-friendly garden sustainably.

John Teegan and Diane Teegs from Teegs nursery and Beacon of Hope in Edenvale donated plants, including strawberries.
The school thanked Brian Nemavhidi, a Grade 12 learner, and Badrudin who started the vegetable garden initiative.
