SPCA raises over R130 000 with your help

We would like to thank our supporters and our community who gave so generously towards our Dogs' Dinner Fund.

With the end of January here, Edenvale SPCA has closed its Dogs’ Dinner Fund fund-raising initiative with a total of R135 965.

The Edenvale SPCA started its annual initiative last October to raise much-needed funds for the branch and the animals under its care.

In a thank you letter to the community, the SPCA said: “With Covid-19 now a part of our life, we experience on a daily basis the effect it has on our community across the spectrum, and every day has become a challenge.”

The SPCA thanked all of those who continue to support it and the animals in its care.

“We would like to thank our supporters and our community who gave so generously towards our Dogs’ Dinner Fund.

“We cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who has supported and donated.”

Through the donations made by the community the SPCA is able to continue doing its work to prevent animal cruelty and fight for those who don’t have a voice.

“We thank Stephan Lehman and the Bedfordview and Edenvale News team for acknowledging each donation in the paper.

“It means a lot to everyone donating.” The Edenvale SPCA team wished everyone the best for the new year.
