An outdoor meal was just what the residents of Rand Aid’s Elphin Lodge needed this December.
“We had a good turnout of residents who joined the festive fun picnic at the Woodlands Lapa on December 9,” said Elphin Lodge manager Helen Petrie.
“The relaxed setting and packed lunch was easy to serve and a nice surprise as the picnickers peered into the containers to see what was for lunch.”
Each packed picnic included roasted cold sliced meats with salads and mince pies.
“The portions were generous and the food was most enjoyed in the casual lapa setting,” said Helen.
