Community invited to take part in mining explosives emergency simulation

The exercise or simulation allows all stakeholders to practise their emergency response plans with the intention of continuous improvement.

In accordance with the law, AECI Mining Explosives will conduct an emergency exercise (simulation) on November 26 and invited community members to participate.

Classified as a Major Hazardous Installation and a National Key Point the facility is required by law to implement maintain and practice its emergency response plan annually. Community members living in the surrounding area are invited to participate.
