Security stakeholders invited to JIC meetings

The easing of lockdown regulations has allowed for these meetings to be relaunched.

Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) meetings hosted by the Bedfordview CPF were put on hold as a result of Covid-19 safety regulations.

The easing of lockdown regulations has allowed for these meetings to be relaunched.

JIC meetings are a closed-door forum for security and law enforcement agencies to meet and discuss crimes affecting the Bedfordview area.

The meetings are also used to share intelligence in a secure environment and foster good working relationships in the crime-fighting sphere.

Chairperson for the BCPF Gavin Henry urged all security stakeholders working in the Bedfordview policing precinct to participate in the meetings.

“We would like to thank those who participate in the meeting regularly,” he said.
