Thornhill Manor resident Charlotte da Silva did her bit for Mandela Day by making 11 wool beanies which were donated to the Servest landscaping team.

The Servest team takes care of the Rand Aid retirement village’s extensive gardens.

Charlotte made one beanie for each of the village gardeners.
“A huge thank you to Charlotte from all the gardeners and from the Thornhill management office staff, for thinking of others, especially with the cold spell upon us. It is greatly appreciated,” said Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott.
