Curro – The King’s School Linbro Park

The school started as a nursery school with 12 learners, and quickly grew to the flourishing school it is today. As of January 2020, the school is part of the Curro group as a Curro Select school.

The King’s School Linbro Park was founded in 1986 by Love Reaching Communities Church (then known as Waverley New Covenant). The church’s vision was to provide an opportunity for children to receive an education in a Christian-centred environment. The school started as a nursery school with 12 learners, and quickly grew to the flourishing school it is today. As of January 2020, the school is part of the Curro group as a Curro Select school.

The King’s School is a Christ-centred, independent school in Linbro Park, Sandton, that provides high-quality education to learners from three months to Grade 12. With small class sizes and a holistic approach, learners are acknowledged as individuals and recognised for more than their academic achievements and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

The school’s enriched curriculum provides learners with a well-rounded education and prepares them for the IEB examination in Grade 12.

The school’s motto is ‘Education for Life’ because:

1. Their most basic goal is to prepare children with skills they need for life after school.

2. They believe that the education children receive at the school will last a lifetime.

3. Most importantly, they point children to Jesus Christ, who holds the key to eternal life.
