The Harmelia store is located in the Harmelia Centre on Shelton Avenue and will be open from 9am to 4pm.

With SA now at a level four lockdown, Hospice East Rand’s Harmelia Charity Shop is set to open its doors.

The Harmelia store is one of many which of many in Eastern Gauteng provide much needed financial support to the organisation.

Jonquil Siepman, marketing and media liaison for the organisation, said the Central Avenue store has not opened yet.

“The stores are reliant on volunteers, but not all volunteers are able to work during the pandemic,” she explained.

Carla Steenkamp, coordinator of the Hospice East Rand charity shops said: “We have lots of winter clothing for sale at exceptionally affordable prices and we’re looking forward to assisting shoppers during this economic crisis we are facing.”

The Harmelia store is located in the Harmelia Centre (Shop 48), Shelton Avenue.

It will be open from 9am to 4pm.

Donations and support from the community to the store will be appreciated.
