South Africans show support for those on the frontline of Covid-19 by singing the national anthem

Civilians and essential service workers have also adopted this practice as a show of unity in the country.

Boksburg SAPS members were captured singing the national anthem during their parade at Medicare on Wednesday.

Several photos and videos have been shared on social media of citizens, emergency services workers and SAPS members singing the national anthem as a show of support for those working on the frontline during Covid-19.
Civilians and essential service workers have also adopted this practice as a show of unity in the country.

Boksburg North SAPS members were spotted singing the national anthem during their parade at Medicare on Wednesday.
Members of the public were also requested to stand at attention.
