Two injured in crash on Driefontein Road

One of the hydraulic tools used to remove the injured patients at the traffic collision which occurred this morning on Driefontein Road this morning.

Two men were injured on Driefontein Road during a traffic collision involving two trucks and a motor vehicle.

The accident occurred at 10.59 am and saw Netcare 911 respond to the Isadovale scene.

Media liaison officer of Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst said one patient, a passeneger, sustained moderate injuries while the other, a driver, sustained serious injuries.

“Hydraulic tools were used to free the patients,” said Herbst.

“Once treated and stabilised the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.”
