South African Paralympic tennis player Kgothatso Montjane provided plenty of inspiration for Saheti School learners during her visit to the school recently.

Montjane took questions from the high school learners and thereafter gave a brief talk.

She then proceeded to take photos with players at the start of the senior girls’ A league match against King David Linksfield.

Montjane also had a training session with her coach, which attracted many spectators of all ages.

Montjane represented South Africa in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympics.

In 2018 she qualified for Wimbledon and also competed at the US Open, becoming the first African wheelchair tennis player to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same year.
