Pay your account on time to avoid credit control measures

The new system will be rolled out in phases until June 2020.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) is in the process of migrating to a new and improved consumer billing system rolling out in phases until June 2020.

CoE spokesperson Themba Gadebe said the roll out of the system to Alberton and Brakpan customer care centres will be from March 7 to 18.

“The billing processes will be affected during the system migration; therefore, account statements, including on the Siyakhokha website, will be delayed.”

However, Gadebe added the account payments will not be affected and all payment platforms will be available to customers.

Customers are reminded to continue paying their monthly account by the due date as credit control measures will still be applied.

CoE apologises for any inconvenience caused.
