Edenglen High hosts inter-house plays

Each house had to create a play with the theme “what if Africa”.

Edenglen High School learners took the stage when the school hosted its annual inter-house production evening.

The event saw the four school houses, Churchill, Smuts, Bismarck and Lincoln compete to win the cup at the end of the year.

Smuts house’s play depicted a love story set in Africa between a boy named Henry and a girl named Rebecca who faced many trials staying together.

Churchill house created a play depicting four African princesses born from mother nature.

The princesses travelled through time to solve some of the world’s biggest problems such as war, life of the privileged and life of refugees.

Despite all the houses putting on entertaining plays, Churchill house was announced as the overall winner of the inter- house plays.
