1st Bedfordview Girl Guides meets on Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm at the Bedfordview Scout Hall at the corner of Disa and Florence roads in Bedfordview.

• Faith and Light Edenvale, group for the mentally disabled, family and friends, meets every second Saturday of the month at 2.30pm, Edenvale Methodist Janet Brown Hall. Contact Kathryn on 082 343 5501.
• The Household Consumers’ League meets the second Wednesday of every month at the James Sadie Auditorium in Hawley Street, Bedfordview, at 9.30am. Consumer issues are discussed and acted upon. Meetings feature speakers on various topics and the league enjoys fun and interesting outings throughout the year. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact the secretary on 011 648 4729.
