Better Bedfordview organises clean-up on Morninghill Koppie
Learners can register for community hours on www.communityhourssa.co.za for the Better Bedfordview initiative.
Better Bedfordview will be hosting a community project by doing a clean-up at the Morninghill Koppie on March 22.
Bedfordview CPF, SAPS, EMPD and RAG will be conducting a security sweep of the koppie at 9.30am.
The clean-up will then commence from 10am to noon at the meeting point at Pullford Lane at the top of John Road in Senderwood.
There will be two clean-up teams; team one will focus on the collection of refuse and team two on the removal of alien invasive vegetation.
Team one will need gloves, hats, sunscreen, rubbish bags, hand spades and a bucket or something similar for collection of glass.
Team two will need the same as team one, including gardening tools.

Volunteering learners who are registered are able to log all of their hours online and print certificates detailing the hours they volunteered.
