Rand Aid’s Thornhill Manor Retirement Village in Modderfontein hosted a Valentine’s dinner and sundowner evening on February 12.

“There was a record attendance of 150 residents at the dinner, which was prepared by Cookchill, Rand Aid’s in-house catering division,” said Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott.

“The residents raved about the roast beef.”

The village’s entertainment committee decorated the hall and tables in red and white, with a liberal sprinkling of hearts.

“Everyone could feel the love,” said Jackie.
