Day of love brings senior citizens together

Seventy senior citizens came together to celebrate Valentine’s Day when they attended Edenvale Senior Citizen’s Society Valentine’s Lunch.
Held on the day of love, February 14, the lunch was hosted by the society at the Edenvale Community Centre.
“We all had a super time with a delicious meal and super raffle prizes to win,” said society committee member Linda Ranwell.
On top of hosting events, the society provides cooked meals every weekday.
The meals cost R35 for members or R45 for non-members.
Meals must be booked with the society at least one day in advance.
The next large event will be a St Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17, those who attend are encouraged to wear green.
