A purple Valentine’s
El Gosling, former Mrs Africa Classic, was guest speaker at the ABC Ladies Club Valentine's feast.
Members of the ABC Ladies Club of Bedfordview enjoyed a Valentine’s feast at the Mercure Hotel in Bradford Road on February 13.
This year the club celebrated Valentine’s Day with purple hearts instead of red ones and rose table decorations were replaced by bunches of beautiful lavender, provided by Nita Fourie.
Fourie is the founder of Purple Posy and was one of the guest speakers of the day.
Former Mrs Africa Classic and inspirational speaker El Gosling was also a speaker at the event.
Gosling expressed how this month, everyone should extend gratitude to those who have touched their lives.
She also shared how winning her crown was a testimony; a woman could rise from ashes to beauty and wholeness.
The club meets regularly in the hotel’s restaurant area for brunch, networking and a guest speaker presentation.
The next meeting of the ABC Ladies Club will be on March 17.
