Between R750 000 and R1 million worth of stock was taken during a business robbery on North Reef Road, Bedfordview, yesterday.
Capt André de Jager, Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson said a security guard at the business was approached by two men.
The men distracted the guard by asking him questions before producing a firearm and pointing it at him.
“The two men then opened the main gate to the business and 15 suspects entered the property in two eight-ton trucks and three panel vans,” said De Jager.
He said it took the men two hours to load the vehicles with sweets.
