Centre encourages shopper to be recycle rangers

Eastgate Shopping Centre and Cotton On hosted a recycle rangers fashion edition from October 24 to 27.

The aim of the event was to create awareness about the importance of recycling and to show children the fun side of recycling.

“We wanted to show the little ones how much fun recycling can be and expose them to the many fun eco-friendly activities that they can do,” said Kelsey van der Walt, Eastgate’s marketing manager.

“Our planet could really use our help to keep it clean and spotless. Next year the centre won’t be using any single-use plastic shopping bags anymore. We want to keep as much plastic out of our environment as possible.”
