Spar Women’s Challenge attracts many

The Spar Women’s Challenge Joburg attracted women from Bedfordview, Edenvale and Kensington areas as they supported this year’s challenge at Marks Park Sports Club on October 6.

This annual race offered women the opportunity to take part in a 5km or 10km race.

The Joburg challenge grows annually with thousands of new participants joining every year.

The race also forms a key part of the Spar Grand Prix series, which is the only competition of its kind in South African road running.

The Grand Prix series allows the country’s most outstanding female runners to score points across six Spar Women’s Challenge 10km races.
