Caxton Radio is a hyper-local online streaming radio station on Caxton Local Media news websites across the City of Ekurhuleni, including Bedfordview and Edenvale NEWS.

It was launched in March 2018 and it is now streaming on Caxton local news websites.

“Within the first 13 to 14 days since the launch on March 1, we have had about 98 000 streamers,” said Caxton Radio station manager Paul Rotherham.

Those numbers have multiplied to an average of 500 000 a month.

Rotherham thanked Caxton for helping him make the dream a reality.

The content is lively, fun and energetic with music from the ’80s, mid ’90s and current.

The station focuses on sports, business, current affairs, community success stories, local profiles, finances and more.

Caxton Radio is here to connect Caxton local newspapers readers with business owners and expose community events, social functions and other initiatives in Ekurhuleni.

“We are excited about the venture that we’ve entered into with Caxton Radio,” said Clive Tavener, Emperors Palace operations executive.
