Bedfordview Primary School’s Grade Five learners washed cars outside Mega Mica Eastgate to raise funds for a school trip on August 24.
The ‘Splash and Dash’ car wash was a huge success.
Marketing manager of Mega Mica Eastgate, Brigitte Thysse, said “It was a fun way to raise valuable funds while focusing on building team spirit between learners and teachers.”
It was an absolute pleasure hosting this event with Bedfordview Primary and Ryobi. We are looking forward to the next event with them.”
Greg Bryant, the principal of the school, was present and had fun with the learners alongside supportive parents chanting “go go go” to the eager learners.
The hard-working learners washed 65 cars in two hours and raised R2 200 towards their Bush Pigs Grade Five Tour.
