Bedfordview SAPS is investigating the robbery at Checkers Hyper Meadowdale where Sassa pay-outs money was taken on September 2.
Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Capt André de Jager said four armed men entered the premises and went straight to the customer care counter and demanded money from Sassa pay-outs.
“The men ordered the people at the counter to put an undisclosed amount of money into a bag,” said de Jager.
De Jager said nobody was injured and no shots were fired.
He said a business robbery docket was opened and they are still looking for the suspects while the investigation continues.
