Edenglen learners save lives

With the amount of blood donated from the school, 231 lives can be saved.

Edenglen High School hosted its second annual blood donor day at the school this year.

The school encouraged all learners and parents to donate blood if they were able to on July 23.

Many learners made their way to the school hall where the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) set up to receive the much-needed blood from donors.

With the amount of blood donated from the school, 231 lives can be saved.

The school thanked those who donated blood and encouraged others to donate.
