Enjoy a day of painting in Edenvale

As an artist David strives to depict his paintings accurately and with artistic excellence. Wildlife and cattle have become his speciality.

Artist David Johnson will demonstrate a pastel landscape to art enthusiasts and community members alike for the Paint and Palette Group.

The demonstration will be held on August 17 at the Edenvale Community Centre.

As an artist David strives to depict his paintings accurately and with artistic excellence. Wildlife and cattle have become his speciality.

His preferred medium is soft pastels and oils and he has exhibited extensively throughout SA, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Germany.

Besides his art being exhibited internationally, 17 of his artworks are displayed as backdrops in zoos.

Over the years he was invited to special exhibitions by the Wildlife Conservation Trust, Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, African Wildlife Heritage Fund and Watercolour Society of SA.

The demonstration will be held at the corner of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Second Street between 2pm and 4pm.

Entrance for members is R20 and for visitors R50, refreshments included.
