Pinocchio Educare Centre to host open day

By enrolling their children as soon possible parents will ensure the child’s education is not disrupted.

Pinocchio Educare Centre urged parents to stay ahead of the rush and ensure their children are enrolled in school for 2020.

Situated on the same property as Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview, the school is set to have an open day and open registration in October.

The open day will allow prospective parents and learners to visit the school.

Pieter le Roux, chairperson of Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview, said the centre caters for underprivileged families.

Working hand in hand with Child Welfare, both organisations hope to improve the lives of children.

The centre provides early childhood development for children of pre-school age from low-income families.

Principal of Pinocchio Educare Centre Loné Muller and Pieter le Roux, chairperson of Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview, encourage parents to enrol their children as soon as possible.

Learners are given opportunities for both play and mental stimulation.

The principal of the centre, Loné Muller, said basic documents, such as a residential address and three months’ bank statements, will be required.

She said the Grade 00, Grade 0 and Grade R classes are taught by herself, Maria Matthias and Nonkululeko Langa.
