Market to grow entrepreneurs and help animals

“A R100 stall fee is charged but this money is donated to the Edenvale SPCA.”

With the hope of generating consistent funds for Edenvale SPCA, monthly markets will be held at their premises.

Organised by Julie Kriel, the monthly markets hope to attract community members to the organisation to raise funds.

One of the organisers, Julian Kriel, said the market days are casual events and open to anyone.

“A R100 stall fee is charged but this money is donated to the Edenvale SPCA.”

Edenvale SPCA staff member, Chelsea Meyer, market organiser, Julie Kriel, and community member, Cary Pragdin, at the market.

Julie said in previous years the SPCA always held one large annual market, but this will be replaced by the monthly markets.

“I hope the monthly markets will generate greater awareness about Edenvale SPCA.

“The markets will not only help entrepreneurs, but also the animals.”
