A total of seven suspects were arrested for various crimes during routine Joburg Flying Squad patrols from June 28 to July 1.
Three stolen vehicles were also recovered during the same period.

Of the seven suspects, two were arrested for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm while two more were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A further three suspects were arrested for possession of drugs.
“As usual, members of the public are encouraged to continue to collaborate with police by reporting any suspicious activities.
“Information may be given anonymously by phoning the Crime Stop number 08600 10111, or by contacting the nearest police station,” said Joburg Flying Squad spokesperson Raymond Sambo.
