A minibus taxi and a motor vehicle were involved in a head-on collision in Falcon Street, Modderfontein.
Thabi Langa, the spokesperson of Care Well EMS, said on June 27 medics responded to reports of a collision at 7.58am.
“Our medics reported that multiple patients from the minibus taxi and the motor vehicle sustained moderate to serious injuries.”
The cause of the accident is unknown.
Care Well personnel managed to rush three patients to the nearest health-care facility after stabilising them.
“One patient sustained serious injuries, while the other two sustained moderate injuries.
“The remaining patients were rushed to health facilities by other medical services on the scene,” said Langa.
