Twins living with albinism aim to shed light

Hip-hop twins aim to expunge myths around albinism by exploring talents in movement.

Two young artists from Doornfontein who are living with albinism have made it their mission to educate the masses on the congenital disorder which affects the skin and eyes.

The twin duo of Katleho and Karabo Mashile, who go by the stage name Double Cream or DC, are a pair of bubbly up-and-coming artists. They aim to shed light on the myths about albinism through song and an active movement.

The 19-year-olds also form part of a hip-hop quartet crew known as Maboneng.
