Edenglen hosts annual carnival

The carnival held on May 26 saw more than 350 children gather on the fields for fun with the councils.

The Johannesburg Junior Council (JJC) and Johannesburg Mini Council (JMC) hosted their annual Dean Walt Kids Carnival at Edenglen High School.

The carnival was held on May 26 and saw more than 350 children gather on the fields for fun with the councils.

Children had received lunch, party packs and juice while stalls showcasing face-painting, necklace making and ‘fishing’ ponds kept them entertained throughout the day.

The aim of the JJC is to impact in volumes by choosing service over silence and this event is one of the many steps taken by the council to fulfil their goal for 2019.

Among this council, which consists of 42 schools throughout the corners of Johannesburg, unity, leadership, love and hard work are the foundations at which the 92-year-old council strives upon.
