Park Meadows Shopping Centre made its customers to smile when they did a random act of kindness.
The shopping centre decided to fix the potholes in Cumberland Road.
“Our customers were constantly complaining about the state of the road, and this is a busy road.
“As a centre we saw a need to do something for our customers,” said marketing manager Paula Lamprecht.
“We always put the community surrounding us first in everything we do.
” Seeing as how it was affecting our customers we wanted to give back to the community.
“You would find people stuck in that road because they just hit a pothole and that can be stressful,” said Lamprecht.
The centre hired a contractor to fix the road.
The community is pleased the centre took a stand and fixed the potholes.
They took to social media to commend the centre.
Lamprecht said this is a start of a community project the centre will be doing.
