Art group to host painting demonstration
Mereil, a widely recognised artist, started her art career as textile designer with Cyril Lord and later worked with ceramics.
Gauteng-based artist Mereil May is set to host a painting demonstration for the Paint and Palette Group at the Edenvale Community Centre.
The May 18 demonstration will be held at the centre between 2pm and 4pm.
Mereil, a widely recognised artist, started her art career as textile designer with Cyril Lord and later worked with ceramics.
During her art career, Mereil has worked in a variety of mediums.
In which ever medium she chooses, every creation is based on the same principal, ensuring the work is of good quality.
Entrance for the demonstration is R20 for members and R50 for visitors, refreshments are included.
