“I’m voting because I take my responsibility in creating a better South Africa, seriously.

“Considering the fact that the ability to vote was hard earned in this country, it is important to not neglect the responsibility. I take pride in doing my part to make South Africa better,” said Wandile.

He was born five days after the 1994 elections.

He said 25 years later, as a born-free, he feels democracy has not provided a better tomorrow.

He hopes those who come into power will provide greater attention to education.

“The winning party needs to make sure they prioritise education. What has been done in the past 25 years is not enough. More needs to be done from basic education to higher education,” said Wandile.

He said government should ensure every child reaches their full potential through education.
