Spokesperson for Cleveland SAPS said the trio boarded a white Toyota Quantum taxi which had been occupied by two unknown men. He said the three victims told police that they had left their home in the early hours of Sunday morning en route to a nearby store.

“The suspects drove the girls to Jeppe Hostel where they bought liquor,” said Jordaan.

“They climbed back into the taxi and the girls were taken to a park. They were forced to drink pure Vodka and were beaten when they insisted on leaving.”

Jordaan said the girls were subsequently taken to an address in Jules Street, where once they awoke at about 6am in the morning, found themselves in various stages of nakedness.

“One victim experienced severe vaginal pains and saw one of the suspects lying naked next to her.

“The other two victims were bleeding from the vagina while the second suspect, who was also naked, slept next to them. The girls got up and quickly made their way back to their respective homes, where each of them notified their parents of their ordeal.”

“A case was opened at Jeppe SAPS and the three victims received counselling at the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit.

“The docket has since been transferred to Cleveland SAPS,” said Jordaan.
