Community members are invited to enjoy a meal and raise funds for Edenvale Care Centre Hospice.
On March 26 the centre will host a fund-raising evening in partnership with Greenstone Spur.
The fundraiser will start at 5pm and continue into the evening.
“Community members need to get involved and support this event,” said Sister Leigh.
“We rely heavily on the assistance from the community.”
Community member Marlene Hooper, assisting with the drive, explained that people who are interested in raising funds on the evening will have their bills marked with a sticker.
“A percentage of each bill, marked with a sticker, will be given to the hospice,” said Marlene.
